Some feel that when a plus-size person decides to become more active and possibly lose weight that the act of losing weight is in fact fatphobic. How so? Well If you truly loved yourself then you woujld’t want to change anything about you right? You must dislike being fat and so losing weight is an outright attack against ALL plus-sized people. Boxing in a person at a particular weight and thinking they should never change is problematic within itself.

This is my body, it is ever changing and I know I must love it at whatever size it is. I also want to say that if you are plus size and trying to get healthy then that doesn’t mean you hate yourself. It just means you recognize that being healthy is important. Now weight loss MAY come with it, or it may not. The most important thing is that healthy doesn’t look the same for everyone.
had to see Black panther opening weekend. I wanted to be surrounded by everyone that was so excited to be apart of history. It earned 201.8 million from Fri - Sun and looks like it is estimated to bring in 255 million from Fri - Monday. If you haven't seen the movie yet I URGE you to go. The imagery, the character development, the technology. it's all so breathtakingly beautiful. I knew what I wanted to wear right away.
