Find You A Man Like Prince Harry.

Henry Charles Albert David did NOT come to play with y’all. Especially when it comes to the mental health and safety of himself, his wife and child. I am by no means a Stan for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but what I am a fan of is people standing up for themselves and doing what they feel is the right move for their peace of mind. As a black woman in America, I know all too well how racial bias plays into everyday life and how people treat you. I couldn’t imagine getting that kind of pressure on a global scale. You can look at the difference between headlines when British newspapers would talk about Kate vs Megan. Just the fact that they were calling the Duke and Duchess step back from royal duties #Megxit insinuates that this woman has such a hold and power over her husband that she pulls all the strings.

I could tell something was brewing in Prince Harry for a while now. I felt like it was all coming to a head when he announced that he was filing a lawsuit against British paper The Daily Mail in October 2019. He saw what the tabloids and British papers attacks and obsession against his mother played out, and he didn’t want that same demise for his wife. People say that having a child changes you, and people understand that change affects a mother. Let me tell you it also affects the father as well. When you have this precious child that you created finally safe in the world, you want to do everything you can to protect them. Even if that means going against tradition and leaving your extended family and a country that you were born into.

A few nights ago, at a dinner, Prince Harry spoke up and even stated that HE was the one that decided to make this move and not his wife. Right there, he is willing to go out in PUBLIC and let folks know…LEAVE MY WIFE’S NAME OUT CHA MOUTH! This woman has been torn down, and her every move was picked apart. I can’t even imagine having to go through that after having a child. When they announced, they were taking a six-week break I was like…YEP that’s the next move; make sure your family is safe and able to be uplifted and encouraged.

Get you a man like Harry, I am not saying go out and get a ginger man but get you one that will stand up to his IMMEDIATE family and make sure your wellbeing is the top priority. Just looking at the duties, he is carrying out right now, you can tell in his face he is torn. He wants to do all he can for his grandmother, but he also wants to be with his wife and child.

There is a reason why Megan is always looking at her husband with a huge smile and smiling eyes. She knows he has her back and that they are a team. I also love that this move is something that they both know may not work out, but they are both willing to take that leap together and see what life would be like independent and just as a family of three. I wish them the best.
