Mexico Vacation Look Book & Resort
Recently my husband and I were able to visit Mexico and stay at an Adult only All-Inclusive resort. This was the first vacation we have had alone since we had children. 2012 was the last kid-free vacation we had. That was SEVEN years ago. I knew I wanted it to be a luxurious vacation, and boy did the resort deliver. We stayed at a place called TRS Coral in Cancun. This resort opened in Jan of 2019. I was happy to book it at a fantastic deal for 70% off a night( I used the site Book it that deal is gone, but they have GREAT deals on all-inclusive if you are ever looking for sales). We snagged a Junior Suite with a swim-up. We had a POOL right outside our back door.
The food was terrific, and they had seven different main restaurants with your choice of Mexican, Argentina, and Japanese cuisine, to name a few. They had a dinner show called CHIC, which was a five-course meal and a show. Our room came with a butler! That was a unique experience, and they made sure to get us anything that we may have needed on the trip. Within a few steps, we had beach access. One of our favorite restaurants Helios had a balcony that you could overlook the beach while you ate. We had lunch and dinner there a few times. Here are some pictures of the resort. How could you NOT want to stay there forever?
If you get a chance to head to Cancun and you are looking for a fantastic place to stay I would try this place out with no hesitation. Now enough about the resort lets get into the fashion….
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to vacation I want my wardrobe to be flowy and carefree, I like to dress up, but I need it to be comfortable. For this vacation, I decided to get my pieces from ASOS and Eloquii. I have shared with you all recently my list of favorite places to shop online. These two are defiantly my top two when it comes to plus size clothing. I knew I would be in a bathing suit most of the day (which was true lol) I had a cute snakeskin neon cover-up from ASOS(no pictures of it because I was busy living my best life) However, for dinner I wanted to dress up a bit. The first outfit I fell in love with was this romper from ASOS. It instantly gave me a vacation vibe. I also loved that the living walls at the resorts were the perfect background to show off this cute little number.
I wanted a maxi dress because you can always dress that up to down, use it as a bathing suit cover-up or throw on a belt with some cute shoes and wear it out for brunch. I loved the bright colors of this dress, and I promised myself this summer, I wasn’t going to hide my arms as much as I have in the past. This dress was exactly what I had in mind when I made that commitment to myself. I loved the way I felt in this.
Lime green is the color of the summer and I HAD to wear it once. I bought this skirt from ASOS earlier this summer and paired it with the flowy white top from ASOS. Since the top is sheer. I decided to pair a cute neon pink bralette underneath that I also purchased from Eloquii.
This vacation was so memorable and one for the books. We didn’t leave the resort because they had everything there. We also were wanting to relax and not have to worry about going. IF you do want to venture out, there are companies at the hotel that will help you plan excursions of your liking. But between the pool, spa, shopping on sight and fantastic food and drinks. We didn’t need to go anywhere else. This was our first all-inclusive, and I know it won’t be our last.
