When Inclusivity goes WRONG
Update: 7/18 - 4pm SO evidently Beauty blender is saying that trendmood had a "funky filter" on the pic so that's why its casting orange...ummmm NAW
I am not going to pretend like Fenty beauty was the ONLY inclusive line. There were other beauty companies that were making foundations for deep skin tones. However, Fenty was the first of its kind to come out with inclusive foundation their FIRST GO and not make us with deep skin tones to feel as an afterthought.
Companies have seen the amount of money that we as melanated people have to spend and now EVERYONE is trying to get a piece of the coint. With all the different formulas and skin types out in the world, there is PLENTY of room for this. However, if you aren't really going to give it a try then just DO NOT DO IT. Case in point Beauty Blender.

Like WHY? Who is that orange? There are THREE shades that are just ground up Cheetos thrown into a bottle. Then they have RED...like did they go down south and pick up some red clay soil to get inspiration for that red foundation? I laughed so hard when I saw the foundation in action pics.

I don't see ORANGE OR RED ANYWHERE. I know beauty blenders are supposed to be magic but I didn't know they were death-defying. Out here making people look worse than casket ready!!. They need to pull a Jacklyn Jill x Morpher collab and just take this off the market and push it back. for $40 I need more than Cheetos and clay as an option.
Please just stick to makeup applicators and make your coins that way, you were doing so good.
What are some of the beauty companies that you have seen that fell flat? We all make mistakes I hope they learn from this.
