Forget Milk...WATER does a body good

I have noticed that since my pregnancy my skin has truly improved. True I was taking prenatal pills(and still am since I am breastfeeding) but the one thing that changed was my water intake. I was in my third trimester during summer and WATER was what I craved. I have never been that interested in juice or pop(that means soda for all of my southern folks)

I noticed that once my water intake went up my skin, and health also improved. since we are getting into the summer months again I wanted to share with you some of the benefits of water. I never leave home without it. you don't have to be as drastic as I am about water ( I currently drink between 70-100 oz a day) just drinking the recommended eight 8oz a day you should be able to see the difference.

WATER FACTS

1. Drinking water helps maintain the balance of the fluids in your body. Did you know that your body is made up of 60% water? The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature

2.Water Helps your skin looking great. but dont expect  to see the results immediately.but just a week of drinking a healthy amount of water can have good effects on your skin. however, just a week of drinking a healthy amount of water can have great effects on your skin.

3. It cleanses your body. Your body uses water to help clean out toxins and waste products.

4, Gives you energy. Did you know that if you feel thirsty you are ALREADY dehydrated. Being dehydrated can make you feel tired and sap your energy, this can lead to fatigue, muscle weakness, dizziness and other symptoms.

5.Weight Loss

. It's a great appetite suppressant, and often when we think we’re hungry, we’re actually just thirsty. Water has no fat, no calories, no sugar.

If you are not a fan of just plain water "spice" it up in a healthy way by adding cucumbers, lemon, berries or any kind of fruit to give it a new flavor. So DRINK UP :)
