Water and Curls do Mix!
Transitioning to natural hair has had it's ups and downs and I admit there have been times when I felt that going back to chemically straight hair would be easier to manage. However I am glad that I don't have to break out in the matrix moves whenever a drop of water looks like it would touch my hair.Behold a chemically straight hair girls nightmare but a curly girls best friend WATER!
The formal pool at the beautiful Omni Resort in Orlando,FL
Our lovely friends over at naturallycurly.com had their 2nd annual curly pool party this past saturday and it was fabulous. There was fun, sun, pool, drinks and products! The resort was high class and there was even a lazy river for everyone to enjoy. The party was sponsored by amazing brands. Ouidad, Shea Moisture, Amika and URCurly. We were given a goodie bag full of helpful products to help keep our hair and bodies moisturized during the summer months
There were representatives that not only taught you how to use their products but took the time to answer your questions. Big shout out to the girls at the Ouidad booth. You girls don't mess around, all of them were very knowledgeable about the products and were ready to answer any questions I threw at them. I tried the heat and humidity gel yesterday and my curls looks amazing at the end of the day. Living in the Florida heat I need all the help I can get to beat this humidity.
All in all it was an amazing day and I can't wait for my next event.
